[Lacrosse] Lacrosse Player Corrigan Makes Documentary

Senior lacrosse player Jon Corrigan decided to make a ten minute documentary for his class final about the team's trip to St. Louis earlier this spring. The documentary begins detailing the team's struggles the past three seasons. As a fourth year player, Corrigan can attest to how far the team has come. This season proved to be the best season in team history.

[Lacrosse] Watts Named WHAC Coach of the Year

Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Jason Watts was named the first ever WHAC Coach of the Year in Men's Lacrosse. The WHAC is the first conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) to sponsor lacrosse at the conference level. Even though lacrosse is a club sport, the WHAC held a tournament in the spring in which Davenport University won. Watts led the Wolves to a 3-1 conference record and a playoff berth which was the first playoff berth school history. The team lost in the playoffs 8-7 in overtime against top seeded Grove City College. Watts was also named the Coach of Character.

[Softball] Softball Loses to Madonna in WHAC Tournament

The softball team made a nice run in the WHAC tournament, but the team came up just a little bit short against Madonna in an elimination game. After defeating Indiana Tech and then losing to Cornerstone, the Wolves faced Concordia in an elimination game. Michigan-Dearborn put one run on the board in the first inning on sophomore Lindsay Taylor's single. The Wolves loaded the bases, but Concordia made a pitching change to Kortney Loar. Loar would not only strike out the Wolves next three hitters to end the threat, but she also struck out the side in the bottom of the second.

[Volleyball] Volleyball Announces Walk-on Tryout Date

The volleyball team has announced that walk-on tryouts will be held on Sunday August 4th, from 4:00pm-7:00pm. [Softball] Softball Defeats Indiana Tech

The softball team won its opening round game of the WHAC tournament Wednesday night defeating Indiana Tech 2-0. Freshman Erika Southworth pitched a three hit shutout to get the win.

The softball team will begin its quest for a conference championship Wednesday, May 1st at 6:00pm against Indiana Tech.� The Wolves are the ninth seed in the tournament and if they defeat the Warriors of Indiana Tech they face off against top seeded Cornerstone at 8:30pm.� If Michigan-Dearborn loses they would play the loser of the Davenport versus Siena Heights game also played at 8:30pm.

[Softball] Softball Against Davenport Friday April 26th Moved to Alumni Field in Ann Arbor

The softball team's doubleheader against Davenport University on Friday April 26th has been moved to Alumni Field on the campus of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. The first game will be played at 6:00pm. It is still a doubleheader. Alumni Field is located at 1202 South State Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.

[Lacrosse] Lacrosse Off to Grove City for CCLA Playoffs

The lacrosse team has qualified for playoffs for the first time in school history. The team finished the season 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association (CCLA). The Wolves will travel to Grove City, Pennsylvania to take on top seeded Grove City College. Grove City finished the season 9-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

[Softball] Webb's Pinch Hit Homerun Propels Softball to First WHAC Victory

Dearborn, MI - It seemed as if the softball team kept coming up short game after game. Monday night at Concordia, after trailing 7-0 the Wolves pulled within two runs and had momentum, but the game was called due to darkness. Wednesday night turned out much better for the struggling team. Hosting first place Madonna University, Michigan-Dearborn played one of its best games of the season.

[Women's Basketball] Davis Named Second Team All-American

The NAIA announced its Basketball All-Americans and Michigan-Dearborn junior forward Chelsea Davis was named to the Second Team. Davis, a transfer from Wayne State, averaged 17.9 points per game and 9.7 rebounds per game. This award culminates an outstanding season for the forward/center from Canton, MI.

[Softball] Softball Against Concordia Postponed Due to Rain

The heavy rain has led to this afternoon's doubleheader against Concordia to be postponed. The doubleheader will be made-up on Monday April 15th with the game at 4:00pm. Michigan-Dearborn will next play this Saturday, April 13th home against Davenport University. The first game will begin at 1:00pm at King Boring Field.

[Lacrosse] Lacrosse Prepares for John Carroll as Game Has Big Playoff Implications

The Michigan-Dearborn men's lacrosse team is riding a four game winning streak. This past weekend the Wolverines knocked off Northwood University 9-3 on Friday and then outslugged Oakland University 19-14 on Sunday. With those victories, the team is now 5-3 overall and more importantly 2-0 in the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association (CCLA).

[Softball] Softball Set to Begin Conference Play

The softball begins conference play tomorrow, Wednesday April 3, at 4:00pm against Lourdes University. The two teams will battle each other in a doubleheader at King Boring Field off Greenfield Road and Michigan Avenue. The Wolverines are looking to put non-conference play behind them as they currently stand at 4-19 on the season. Lourdes is also looking ahead to conference play as they are 2-10 on the young season.

[Ice Hockey] Hockey's Olson Named to ACHA All-Star Game and 2nd Team All-League

Michigan-Dearborn junior captain Anthony Olson was named to the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) All-Star Game which will be played this Saturday March 16th at Ohio University. Olson led the Wolves with 20 goals and 43 assists this past season. His 43 assists put him fifth in the ACHA while his 63 overall points had him tied for ninth.
